Description
The lamp is the heart of every UV-C unit: the water is irradiated as it passes through the housing, and the light destroys microorganisms. However, its service life runs out, so it makes sense to have a spare lamp ready before the busiest weeks of the season.

When it is time for a new lamp
The manufacturer recommends replacement after about one to two years. UV-C output declines gradually, so the lamp may still light up but no longer disinfect fully. Timely replacement is the most reliable way to keep your water clean.

- Replacement frequency: every one to two years
Safety and replacement
A warning about eye protection is printed on the glass. UV-C light is harmful to the eyes and skin, so the lamp operates only inside the closed housing of the unit, and you should never look at a lit lamp.
To replace it, disconnect the unit from the power supply and wait for the lamp to cool. Hold the glass with a dry cloth or gloves so that no grease from your fingers is left on it. Then refit the housing and check the seals.
Compatibility
It is intended for the Profi 75 W model. Transparent connection parts are also available for the same unit – a 63 mm coupler and a 63/50 mm × 1½″ reducer. Electrical work should be left to a specialist. If in doubt, check the number of your unit. It is useful to note the date of replacement so that you know when the next one is due.
