Description
Residual water in the pipes can damage them over the winter. The Poolsana drain set (item 280283) solves this: it is fitted at the lowest points of the lines of the PROFI Ø50 mm pipe kits and lets the water drain out completely.

How it works
One unit is placed on the line to the skimmer, the other on the line to the nozzles. The tee is bonded into the pipe, and the reducer with the tap is screwed into its side outlet. While the pool is running, the tap is closed and does not affect filtration. Once the season is over and the water level has been lowered, you open both taps and the pipes empty.
Compatibility
It fits all PROFI pipe kits – PROFI I, PROFI II and the version for masonry pools. The tees are Ø50 mm and are bonded directly into the pipes of the kit.
Installation tips
It is easiest to fit the units when the pipes are first laid, while the excavation is still open. Keep the small taps accessible. For bonding, use the cement and cleaner from the main pipe kit.
Winter preparation
- Lower the water below the level of the skimmer and nozzles.
- Switch off the filter.
- Open the taps and wait for the pipes to empty.
- In spring, close the taps and restart filtration.
