Description
When two valves or fittings with a female thread have to be joined, a nipple is needed between them. The Atlas Pool model is made of grey UH-PVC and has an R 1 1/2″ male thread on both ends. The hexagonal body lets you grip and tighten it easily.
Where it is used
- In the pipe runs of pools, where valves, fittings and other PVC parts are connected;
- in other installations with PVC components that have an R 1 1/2″ female thread.

How to choose the right size
The Atlas Pool catalogue covers nipples from 1/2″ to 6″. Only the 1 1/2″ version is offered here. Make sure that both parts you are going to connect have an R 1 1/2″ female thread.
Installation recommendations
- Clean the threads of dust and dirt.
- Screw the nipple in carefully without forcing the tightening – a plastic thread is easily damaged.
- Apply a sealant intended for PVC.
- After turning on the water, inspect the connection for leaks.
