Description
Poolsana coping for oval pools forms the entire top rail of a steel pool. The combined profile has a side groove that takes a liner with a hanging bead as well as one with a wedge bead.

What you can choose
- Plastic, blue – PVC, profile approx. 38 × 38 mm;
- Plastic, grey – the same profile in grey;
- Aluminium, smooth – profile 28 × 43 mm with a smooth surface.
After the type, you specify the size of your pool – there are five options. The product is made in Europe, and the frame is assembled from segments with connectors.
Why a combined profile
If the liner has a hanging bead, it hangs over the wall and the coping holds it from above. When you replace it, you cut the old one along the coping; the new one, if it has a wedge bead, is simply inserted from the side into the groove.
This way the pool can be fully built in and the coping hidden under the liner along the edge. No dismantling is needed, and there is no risk of damaging the liner at the edge.
PVC versus aluminium
The PVC coping is available in blue and in grey; the segments are joined with connecting pins.
The aluminium ones are sturdier and longer-lasting, ultraviolet rays do not bleach them, and their appearance holds up for years. The smooth surface is easy to wash.
The aluminium coping comes with 2 plastic caps that cover the joints that appear when the steel wall expands during filling.
Hanging bead and wedge bead
The P1 bead (hanging) is U-shaped: it slips over the wall and the coping holds it in place. The P3 bead (wedge) has a wedge profile and slides into the side groove. The combined profile accepts both types.
Tips for choosing
Choose the size according to your pool. The profile is designed for liners with a hanging bead or a wedge bead, for example the MTH oval ones in our range. For aluminium in the size 5.25 × 3.20 m, the variant also shows the exact number of segments.
