Description
This hose end with a nut is the link between the hose and the pool solar panel. On one side it has ribs onto which the hose is pushed, and on the other a nut that turns freely and screws onto the connector.

What you gain
Thanks to the nut, the system can be connected and disconnected without having to turn the whole hose. The ribs hold the hose firmly. When the hose end is broken, leaks and air in the circuit appear, so do not put it off. The original part fits the connectors and the nut without adapters.

The shape and thread are the same as on the factory part, so the system does not need to be modified. The connection is tight and strong, and universal substitutes, which often do not fit, become unnecessary.
How to fit it
Unscrew the old nut and pull off the hose. Push it onto the ribs of the new hose end and tighten it with a clamp. Then screw the nut onto the connector and inspect the joint when you turn the water on.

Maintenance
Whenever you take it apart, remove limescale and dirt from the threads. Do not use solvents – they corrode the plastic. Before winter, unscrew the detachable connections and store them in a dry place.
The hose end is used with the 3.6 m² and 5.4 m² solar panels. The adapter with an external thread and nut and the 32×4 mm O-ring will also be useful with it.
