Dry and clean filter servicing
The Mountfield shut-off valve (code 3EXX0471) is intended mainly for above-ground pools with 32 and 38 mm hose plumbing. It closes off the water in the pump system while you service the filter, so nothing leaks out. The connection fittings are included.

When it is used
- Filter above the water level. The valve holds the water column in the pump system when you change the sand in the tank or clean the pump strainer basket.
- Filter below the water level. The valve prevents the pool water from flowing out during the same operations.
Advantages
Without a valve, the water in the system drains out every time the filter is serviced. With it, the work is cleaner and faster, and you do not need to lower the level in the pool.
Before you order
Measure the diameter of your hoses. If it is 32 or 38 mm, the valve with the included fittings fits without additional adapters.
