Description
This pump from the Best series is a compact circulation pump with a thermoplastic housing. Choose it if your installation already has a prefilter or you plan to fit one separately. Models from 1.00 HP upwards come in single-phase and three-phase versions.

Models, weight and flow
For models from 1.00 to 3.00 HP the catalogue gives one common code for the single-phase and three-phase versions, and the three-phase version is lighter. The flow is measured at 9 m of water column; all models are for 50 Hz. Single-phase models are for 220 V, three-phase models for 380 V. The shipping package is 32 × 66 × 44 cm.

Connection and start-up
- Connect the pump to the pool’s piping and to the filter, matching the diameters of the inlet and outlet.
- If the pump is powerful, fully close the discharge valve before starting or leave it half open.
- After 5 seconds, open the valve all the way – this starts the circulation flow.
- The suction valves stay open while the pump is running.
- Start the pump only when the system is filled with water – do not run it dry, even for a test.
Where to place it
The location must be dry – the motor must not end up under water. If possible, the suction height should not exceed 3 m. Leave enough free space for airflow around the cooling fan behind the motor, otherwise the pump will overheat and parts of it may be damaged.
Important for installation
The pump must be installed only by a qualified technician and connected to a suitable sand filter, in line with the applicable design – structural, process, plumbing and electrical – prepared by a licensed designer. The power supply must be protected by a residual-current device (RCD), as required by the equipment specification. The buyer is responsible for correct installation and use and for the condition of the electrical installation.
