Description
An automatic chlorinator with a 2 kg capacity from the Atlas Pool catalogue. It works with 200 g chlorine tablets and disinfects the water continuously in pools of up to 60–70 m³.
How it works
The unit connects to the filtration system and dissolves the tablets according to the dose you have set manually. This keeps the water constantly disinfected and largely does away with manual chlorination. It is installed after the filter and the other equipment, for example after the heat pump.
Two installation methods
- In-line (built into the pipe) – catalogue no. HDS079: the water cleaned by the filter passes directly through the chlorinator.
- Off-line (on a bypass) – catalogue no. HDS080: the unit is branched off the pipe fitting with a thin hose.
During installation, provide a bypass valve that lets you stop the water flow to the chlorinator when you service or remove it.
