Electrical connection
Important: this is a 12 V light. It is powered only through a safety transformer 230/12 V, which is not part of the set and is ordered separately (the Atlas Pool range covers outputs from 50 to 600 W). Connection and installation are a job for an electrician.
The transformer must be at least as powerful as the sum of all connected lights. Connect with the voltage switched off; the light must not be switched on out of the water.
Installation
The light is fixed onto the pool wall. The cable is led to the transformer in the technical room, and the connection point is sealed well. Have the work done by an electrician.
Economy version or aluminium frame?
If the aluminium edge at the front and water cooling matter to you, take a look at the more expensive sibling of this light from Atlas Pool. The present light is more suitable when you want good-quality lighting at a reasonable price and quick installation.
Before you buy
Decide how many lights you will install and, based on their total power, choose an Atlas Pool transformer from 50 to 600 W. Then choose the colour – white, daylight, blue or RGB, and with RGB determine whether your controller is for 2 or 4 wires.
