When to replace it
The jet is constantly in water and under pressure, so the plastic can dry out and crack, and the thread can wear down. The result is a weaker stream and a possible leak at the connection.
Replacement is also needed if you lost part of the jet during winterising. The pack of three is convenient because spares remain for the other return points.
The original jet is made for this skimmer – the thread and dimensions match, the connection is tight, and the colour is the same, so the jet does not draw attention.
How to install it
- Switch off the filter pump.
- Unscrew the outer ring that holds the jet.
- Remove the worn parts and wipe the seat.
- Fit the new jet and put the ring back.
- Start the pump and check the connection for moisture.
