Description
The RobotVac Orinoco AKU is a rechargeable robot from Mountfield (Marimex) that takes over the daily cleaning of your pool. There is no cable to get tangled, and salt water is no problem for it. That leaves you more time for swimming.
What the robot can do
Three electric motors with a total output of 130 W drive the unit and create the suction. The navigation plans its own route, and the robot climbs walls with an incline of up to 90° and orients itself with an IMU sensor. The motors are IP 68 protected.
A single charge lasts for at least 120 minutes of operation. The unit is designed for above-ground and in-ground pools with a flat floor, an area of up to 180 m² and a depth of 0.5 to 3 m. The water temperature may range from 6 to 35 °C.
Cleaning programs
- Standard – cleans the floor, the walls and the waterline.
- Floor only – cleans just the floor.
- Weekly – runs a short floor cycle at a set time; it starts only if the battery is charged to at least 80%.
With the mobile app you follow the progress and set the schedule. At the end of a cycle the robot stops at the wall, from where you can easily lift it out with the supplied hook.
Filter and power
The debris basket holds 4 l and has two mesh layers (180 and 80 microns). Rinse it after every cycle. The lithium battery (25.2 V, 5200 mAh) charges in about 5 hours.

Usage tips
Run the robot only while the filtration is switched off. Keep free chlorine up to 4 ppm and the pH between 7.0 and 8.8. Steps or solar terraces covered by less than 50 cm of water can hinder its movement.
